This type of bet has value built into it

Years ago I remember reading an article by an odds compiler explaining why backing the draw in football was almost always a value bet.

It came down to simple human psychology.

Most punters want to see a win.

And this impacts their decision making.

In short, most punters will back a team to win rather than the draw.

And this of course means the odds on the draw are higher than they should be.

This intrigued me and I set about doing some research.

My findings backed up what the odds compiler said.

Between the 2008/9 season and the 2012/13 season, if you were to back the draw in every Premier League game you would have made 51.5 points profit.

That’s with no form study whatsoever.

Just backing the draw blind.

With proper form study you could improve on those profits handsomely.

Definitely something to think about if you like betting on match outcomes.

If you can be bothered burn the midnight oil and do the research yourself then I highly recommend you check out Draw Master.

It has highly impressed me since it was launched 6 months ago…

6 winning months out of 6.

Turned a betting bank of 50 points into 134.49 points.

Has an 18.78% Return on Investment.

If you want to make a bit of extra cash from betting on football then I highly recommend you check it out.
