Some winning stats for Aintree

By on April 3, 2017

The Grand National Festival starts this week and it’s sure to be a great few days.

Trainers will be desperate to end the season on a high.

One of the old adages is to look for horses that raced well at the Cheltenham Festival a few weeks prior.

And it seems there is some truth to this.

Over the past 10 years you would have made 112.65 points profit backing all horses at Aintree who had their last run at the Cheltenham Festival and finished in the top 3.

Now, that’s only an average of 11.27 points a year but that’s to SP.

The profits to BOG or BSP would be a lot better.

The winning strike rate for these horses is a very respectable 36.5%.

It would take a brave person to back them all blind as there’s around 30 a year.

But it’s certainly a great starting point for your own form investigation.

It was two out of two today for members of JT’s Racing.

A nice profit was made with winners advised at evens and 11/4.

That follows on from over 40 points profit last month.

And over 240 points profit since the service started back in September 2016.

It’s a nice simple service with just 2 or 3 bets a day so will suit most punters.
