Same old, same old

By on August 22, 2017

A tougher weekend for the free footy tips and we made a slight loss.

I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that it’s a marathon not a sprint and we can’t guarantee a profit every week.

But over the course of the season we should come out nicely on top.

A couple of talking points of the weekend…

Spurs lost yet again to Chelsea at New Wembley. (I actually wanted to have Chelsea winning as one of the free tips but was sadly overruled by a couple of the others.)

They have now lost their last 4 games against Chelsea at the national stadium.

And their record at New Wembley against all clubs is pretty pathetic with 8 defeats in 11 matches.

This is definitely something us punters need to keep an eye on.

They will really need to sort this out asap if they are to have a chance of maintaining a top 4 place (I really don’t think they will win the league).

Having Chelsea at home was probably the worst fixture they could have asked for.

Their next 3 home fixtures are Burnley, Swansea and Bournemouth and they really need to start racking up wins to give them some confidence at their new home.

It was also the same old, same old for the other North London club Arsenal as they went down 1-0 at Stoke.

They’ve only won twice at the bet365 Stadium in the last 10 Premier League visits.

And don’t forget this is the not the Stoke of old under the likes of Tony Pulis.

For me this is the same old Arsenal as we’ve seen for the past few years and I can’t see them challenging.

They have a chance of top 4 but obviously the Sanchez situation really needs to be sorted.

A front 3 of Sanchez, Ozil and Lacazette looks very scary on paper but do they still have a soft underbelly?

It was a losing weekend for our free betting tips but it was a nice winning weekend for Footy Doubles.

This is a new football tipster that was launched around a month ago.

In that time it’s maintained a 50% strike rate (19 winners from 38 bets) and pulled in around 14 points profit.
With a ROI of just over the 18% mark.

There’s usually one double a day and the selections are sent the evening before giving you plenty of time to place those bets.

You can try out Footy Doubles for just £1 here.
