I’d be wary of backing his horses in upcoming races

After the incredible 1-2-3-4 in the Dewhurst Stakes, Aidan O’Brien is just won Group 1 win away from equally the record Group 1 tally in a year.

I thought it was a great ride by Ryan Moore on US Navy Flag.

Moore has his knockers, and of course he has poor rides, but when he’s on form he’s the best out there.

O’Brien now has 24 top-level wins in 2017 as he closes on the record of 25 set by the late Bobby Frankel.

Surely now it’s a matter of when not if he makes the record his own?

I’d imagine a lot of punters will be piling on his horses even more than ever so I’d be wary of backing his mounts in upcoming races.

Not sure they’ll be a lot of value on offer.

I’ve always liked O’Brien and I’ll be pleased for him when he breaks the record.

It will truly be a remarkable feat.

Yesterday was also a great day for JT’s Racing members.
