4 big name trainers to avoid at Aintree

By on April 5, 2017

The Aintree Festival starts tomorrow and today I’ve got some trainer stats for you that will hopefully help steer you towards some winners (and avoid some losers).

Here are 4 big name trainers to avoid…

(All stats since 2010)

P. Nichols

178 runners

16 winners

9% strike rate

-77.93 points

W. Mullins

78 runners

8 winners

10.3% strike rate

-34.61 points

N. Twiston-Davies

76 runners

6 winners

7.9% strike rate

-32.06 points

D. Mccain

77 runners

5 winners

6.5% strike rate

-33.75 points

These guys might be big name trainers but they seem to struggle to get their charges right at Aintree.

Some very poor strike rates there.

So if you are thinking of backing one of their horses make sure you are extra confident!

On the flip side here’s a trainer to look out for…

P. Bowen

35 runners

5 winners

14.3% strike rate

+53.00 points

Remember these profit figures are to SP, you’ll do much better on the exchanges.

JT’s Racing has done the business again today.

Just one selection and it won at 5/1.

That follows on from a 3/1 winner from two bets yesterday and two from two on Monday.

April is getting off to a great start.

And that follows on from over 40 points profit last month and over 250 points profit since the service launched in Sept 2016.

It’s a nice simple service with just 2 or 3 bets a day so will suit most punters.

You can read all about it here…
